So, for some reason I woke up this morning - thinking about my blogs! Why haven't I updated them in so long? It is something I love doing! I love changing the designs and choosing new colors and hopefully sharing info that others mamas can relate to. So, here it is. Hopefully I can stick to it. My first mission was to get my Daily Dinner Dilemma blog rolling so I could be accountable for meal planning during the school year. It is about to get busy! The Boys will be in Pre-k, K, and 2nd! CRAZY!! Michael will also be playing Flag Football a few nights a week. Excited to have my Day Timer laid out and our life on paper. Let's get to it!
Here is this weeks menu plan if you don't follow the other blog:)

EXCLUSIVES!
I have decided to start offering weekly Polka Dots and Stripes exclusives! These will be sets offered for 24 hours only. I wanted to find a way to provide outfits with colored shirts and designer fabrics that I could offer at my standard pricing. Offering exclusives will allow me to take orders and order a bolt and colored shirts all at once. I will try to alternate offering boy and girls exclusives and try to do some matching boy/girl sets, too! I just love the one for this week! So sweet and perfect for Fall!!
You can order this set by emailing me at pdsboutique@gmail.com or by commenting on my facebook page - www.facebook.com/pdsboutique .
I always keep solid cottons, solid corduroys, most gingham and polka dot colors in stock - and now CHEVRONS! and a few other fabrics you have seen on the page, so those can be ordered at any time! There are more things in the works for Polka Dots and Stripes, too! I am currently devising a plan to reward referrals and frequent customers. So, as always - stay tuned!

Long time no blog!! Things never slow down with a house full of baby boys and trying to run a business! That's ok though! I have lots of ideas in the works and as always I am super excited about them. I just set up a pinterest account for Polka Dots and Stripes, too! You can follow me personally at http://pinterest.com/mwscherer/ or PDS at http://pinterest.com/pdsboutique/ - I am going to try to orangize designs and fabric choices using the pin boards for customers to see - that is my goal anyway!! Here are a few fall designs. I am working on offering exclusives which I hope to introduce this week. So be on the look out!
Love these school dogs, too! I have made a ton in several color combos! Still not sure which my favorite is - but my boys are sporting royal and red dog shirts!

Finally Upgraded!
After running by business on a single needle machine, I finally decided it was time to upgrade! Doing embroidery for a local boutique as well as keeping up with my own appliques shirts made it a must. I must say I am in LOVE!
I started out on the Brother ULT 2003
I know this machine inside and out and have used it for over a year now to do hundreds of appliques and embroidery jobs. It served me well! Now - with the PR-650 I can run shirts all day with no problem!
It requires less time and less "babysitting" and everything I stitch out looks amazing! I cant help but sit and watch it!

Finally setteled....my first projects!
We moved in our new home this past Saturday and I have been unpacking boxes like crazy! First off I set up the kitchen, assembled beds ( since nap time is crucial), and then got to work on our study/my sewing room. My first project - after completing some orders needed ASAP - was monogramming some pillows for our bed. This was a must! Our color scheme in the Master changed from Brown and Green to Aqua and Creme, with brown as an accent.
Next up, was a hat, since we are spending more time on the beach and in the sun, a hat was a must have! I went with lime and hot pink - bright and cheery!
